AN.ORDINANCE .OF THE .CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, AMENDING
.SECTION 5»1004 OF TITLE V (BUSINESS REGULATIONS) OF ORDINANCE
NO. 1628 ENTITLED "CODE.OF GENERAL ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF
RENTON",
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
AS.FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: Existing -Section 5"1004 of Title V (Business Regulations)
or Ordinance No. 16281, entitled 'CODE OF GENERAL.ORDINANCES:OF THE CITY:OF
RENTON" reading as follows:
115»1004: FEES.AND DISPLAY OF LICENSE: The license fee to be paid
hereunder for each "shuffleboard" shall be the sum of $7._50 for each
.quarter or three (3) month period', provided that a license may be
issued for a fractional part of a quarter, but not less than one (1)
month, in which case the above quarterly license free shall be pro-
rated and paid on the basis of $2.50 for each month or fraction of a
month. Each license issued hereunder shall be kept and prominently
displayed on or in close proximity to the "shuffleboard" licensed
thereunder and at the location for which same has been issued.

BE .AND THE SAME IS HEREBY AMENDED TO READ AS FOLLOWS:
115"1004 AS AMENDED: FEES.AND DISPLAY OF LICENSE: The license fee to
be paid hereunder for each,"shuffleboard" shall be the sum of $10..00 per.month,
or an annual license fee for each 41shuffleboard" of $120.00. Each license issued
hereunder shall be kept and prominently displayed -on or in close proximity to- the
"shuffleboard" licensed thereunder and'at the location for which same has been issued."
SECTION -II: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage, approval and legal publication.
