AN ORDINANCE.OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON', PROVIDING
FOR TRANSFER OF FUNDS BETWEEN GENERAL CLASSES AND EXPENDITURES
BE .IT ORDAINED BY THE.MAYOR AND THE.CITY COUNCIL OF THE.CITY OF RENTON
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: For the purpose of providing additional funds for the main-
tenance and operation of the below mentioned departments and in order to meet
certain obligations and expenditures which were not forseeable at the time of
the adoption of the 1957JoudgetS)including expenditures incurred for the preser-
vation of public health -and sanitation, it is hereby found necessary for the
proper administration, operation and maintenance of the City and said departments
to transfer funds between general classes as hereinbelow provided and as authorized
by Chapter 322 of the 1955 Session Laws of the State of Washington, and such
transfers are hereby found to be in the public interest.
SECTION II: The -City Treasurer is hereby authorized and directed to
make .and execute the following transfer of funds, to -wit:
(a) To transfer from Current Fund; ?Maintenance and Operation" as
follows: Purchasing, $200.00; Planning, $250.00; Legal $350.00; Non -
Departmental, $2700.00; Meter Repair, .$200.00;Fire Department. $1550.00,
a total of -$5250.00, unto the Sanitation Department, Current Fund, Maintenance
and -Operation.
(b) To transfer the sum of :$228.87 from Sewage Disposal, Maintenance
and Operation, unto Sewage Disposal, Salaries and Wages.
(c) To transfer the .sum of $4080.00 from Salaries .and Wages,.Current
Fund, City,. Clerk's Department, to Salaries.and Wages, Current Fund,
Executive Department.
SECTION III: This:Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from .and
after its passage, approval and legal publication.
