AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY'OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, CHANGING
THE ZONING ._CIASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN THE
CITY OF RENTON FROM RESIDENCE DISTRICT (R"3) TO BUSINESS
DISTRICT (Bpl)
WHEREAS under Ordinance No. 1472, as amended, and the maps adopted in
p
conjunction therewith, the property hereinbelow described has heretofore been
zoned as RESIDENCE DISTRICT (R«3); and
WHEREAS under the provisions of the aforementioned Ordinance, .as.amended,
a proper petition for change of zone classification -of said property to BUSINESS
DISTRICT-(BN1) has been .filed with the City -Clerk of the City of Renton, which
petition was then duly submitted to the Planning,Commission for investigation
and study, and a public hearing having been held thereon by said Planning Com.,
mission on January 8, 1958, in'the Council Chambers of the City of Renton, all
pursuant to notice of hearing duly published and posted as provided by law, and
said Planning Commission having duly considered and studied said petition and
having recommended to the City Council to rezone said -property as requested, and
the City Council having duly considered the matter and determined -that such ret.
zoning would be in the public interest; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY.THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RENTON AS FOLLOWS':
_SECTION I: The following described parcel of property in the City of
Renton is hereby rezoned to BUSINESS DISTRICT (B»1); and the City Engineer is
hereby authorized and directed to change the maps of the zoning ordinances of
the City of Renton to show and evidence these changes; said property being
described -as follows:
That portion of Lot 13 lying Westerly of Grady Way, and Lots
14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 and 20, all lo-cated in Block 17, Town
of Renton,,King,County,.Washington
SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be in full.force and effect from.
and after its passage, approval and legal publication.
