ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON,.WASHINGTON, CHANGING
THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN THE
CITY.OF RENTON FROM RESIDENCE SINGLE FAMILY DISTRICT'(R-1)
TO RESIDENCE DISTRICT (R..2).
WHEREAS, under Ordinance No. 1472, as amended, and the maps adopted in
conjunction therewith, the property hereinbelow described has heretofore been zoned
as RESIDENCE SINGLE FAMILY DISTRICT (R-.1); and
WHEREAS, under the provisions of the aforementioned -Ordinance, as amended,
e.prdper geti,ti.6n .for change of zone classification -of said property to RESIDENCE
DISTRICT (R..2) has been filed with the City Clerk of the -City of Renton on or about
December 26, 1957, which petition was then duly submitted to the Planning Commission
for investigation and study, and a public .hearing having been held thereon on or
about April 9,.1958, in the City Council Chamber,.City of Renton, all pursuant�to
Notice of hearing duly published and postedasprovided by law, and said Planning
Commission having duly considered and studied said petition, and all interested
parties having been heard in regards to said -petition and .said request for rezoning-,
and -said Planning,Comaission having recommended to the City Council to rezone said
property as below stated; NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR.AND THE CITY -COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The following described parcel of property in the City of
Renton is hereby rezoned to RESIDENCE DISTRICT (R-2) as specified below; and the City
Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to change the maps of the zoning ordinances
of the -City of Renton to show and evidence these changes; said property being described
as follows:
Lot 16, Block 6, Renton Highlands Plat, all located in Renton,
King County, Washington.
SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage, approval and legal publication.
