AN .ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTOR, WASHINGTON, CHANGING
THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION:OF "CERTAIN PROPERTY.WITHIN THE
CITY OF RENTON FROM PUBLIC USE DISTRICT (P-1) TO RESIDENCE
SINGLE FAMILY DISTRICT (R-1).
WHEREAS, under Ordinance No:. 1472, as amended, and the maps adopted in
conjunction therewith, the property hereinbelow described has heretofore been
zoned -as PUBLIC USE.DISTRICT (P-1); and
WHEREAS, under the provisions of the aforementioned Ordinance, as amended,
a proper petition for .change of zone -classification of said property to RESIDENCE
SINGLE FAMILY DISTRICT (R-1) has been filed with the City Clerk of the City of
Renton on or about May 14, 1958, which petition was then duly submitted to the
Planning Comthisson for investigation and study, and a public hearing having been
held thereon on or about June 11, 1958, in the City Council Chambers, City of
Renton, all pursuant to Notice of hearing duly published and posted as provided
by law, and said Planning Commission having duly considered and studied said
petition, and .all interested parties. having been heard in regards to said petition
and said request for rezoning, and said Planning Commission having recommended to
the City Council to rezone said property as below stated; NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The following described parcel of property in the City of
Renton is hereby rezoned to RESIDENCE SINGLE FAMILY DISTRICT (R-1) as specified
below; and the City.Engineer is hereby -authorized and directed to change the maps
of the zoning ordinances of the City of Renton to show and evidence these changes;
said property being described as follows:
Block 49, Corrected Plat of Renton Highlands No. 2, all located
in -Renton, King County, Washington.
SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage, approval and legal publication.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL this 8th day of July, 1958.
