AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, CHANGING
THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTIES WITHIN THE
CITY OF RENTON FROM SUBURBAN RESIDENCE NO, 1 DISTRICT (SR.1)
TO BUSINESS DISTRICT (B-1)
WHEREAS, under Ordinance No. 1472, as amended, and the maps adopted in
conjunction therewith, the properties hereinbelow described have heretofore been
zoned as SUBURBAN RESIDENCE NO. 1 DISTRICT (SR -1); and
WHEREAS, under the provisions of the aforementioned Ordinance, as amended,
a proper petition for change of zone classification of said properties to BUSINESS
DISTRICT (B»1) has been filed with the..City Clerk of the City of Renton on or about
July 19, 1958, which petition was then duly submitted to the Planning Commission.
for investigation and study, and a public hearing having been held thereon on or
about August 13, 1958,- in the City Council Chambers, City of Renton, all pursuant to
Notice of hearing duly published and posted as provided by law, and said Planning
Commission having duly considered and studied said petition, and there being no protest
thereto, and said Planning Commission having unanimously recommended to the City
Council to rezone said properties as below stated; NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The following described parcels of property in the City of
Renton are hereby rezoned to BUSINESS DISTRICT (B-1) as specified below; and the City
Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to change the maps of the zoning ordinances
of the City of Renton to show and evidence these changes; said property being described
as follows:
Tract 11•-A, Correeted.Plat of -Renton Highlands No. 2 j
Blocks 12 and 38, a replat of Blocks 12, 13, 14, 36, 37,
and 38, Correct Plat of Renton Highlands No. 2, an .addition.
to the.City of.Renton as recorded on.December 30, 1957,
Volume 59 of Plats, pages. 52 and 53;
All located in -Renton,, King County, Washington.
SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be in .full force and effect from and after
its passage, approval and legal publication.
