AN CHDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, FIXING THE MOUNT OF TAX LEVIES NECESSARY TO MEET THE AMOUNT OF ESTIMATED EXPENSES FOR THE YEAR 1959 LESS THE TO'T'AL ESTIMATED REVENUES FROM SOURCES OTHER THAN TAXATION, INCLUDING AVAILABLE SURPLUS. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I: The total amount of estimated expenditures required for the City of Renton for the year 1959 is the sum of $2,465,670.00. The total estimated revenues from sources other than taxation, including available surplus, is the sum of $1,906,643.00; therefore, the amount necessary to be raised by taxation is the sum of $559,027.00. SECTION II: There is hereby levied and assessed against the taxable property, real and personal, -within the corporate limits of the City of Renton, Washington, for the purpose of raising the necessary, revenues for said City for the year 1959, the following amounts, towitr (Total Assessed Valuation - $34,4131008.00) For Current. Expense Fund . . 13.00 mills - $ 447,369.00 For Cumulative Reserve Fund #1184 . . .28 mills - 9,637.00 For Cumulative Reserve Fund #1689 . . .07 mills - 2,408.00 For Cumulative Reserve Fund for Fire Department #1698 . . . . . . .35 mills - 12,044.00 For Depreciation Reserve Fund . .30 mills - 10,324.00 For Firemen's Pension Fund 1.00 mills - 341,413.00 TOTAL 15.00 mills - 516,195.00 General Bond Redemption and Interest 1.40 mills - 42,832.00 TOTAL 16.40mills - 559,027.00 *(Notes Excess levy based on valuation of $30,594,332.00) SECTION III: A certified copy of this Ordinance shall be transmitted to the King County Commissioners and.such other goverrmtental agencies as provided by law. SECTION IVs This Ordinance shall be in fall force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication.
