AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTO1, CHANGING THE
ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTIES WTHIN THE CITY
OF RENTON FROM SUBURBAN RESIDENCE DISTRICT (S11) TO RESIDENCE
DISTRICT (R-3)
WHEREAS, under OxRnance No. 1472, .as amended, and the maps adopted in
conjunction therewith, the properties .hereinbelow described have heretofore been
zoned as SUBURBAN RESIDENCE DISTRICT (S-1); and
WHEREAS, under the provisions of the aforementiloned Ordinance., as amended,
a proper petition for a change of zone classification of said properties. to
RESIDENCE DISTRICT (R-3) has been filed with the City C1e k of the City of Renton
on or about September 23, 1958, which petition was then d ly submitted to the
Planning Commission for investigation and study, and a pu lic hearing having been
held thereon on or about October 8, 1958, in the City Coucil Chambers of the City
of Renton, all pursuant to Notice of hearing duly publishid and posted as provided
by law, and said Planning Commission having duly considered and studied said Petition
and all interested parties having been heard thereon, and .the Planning Commission
having recommended to the City Council to rezone said pro erty as below stated, and
the City Council having duly considered this matter; NOW, REFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED. BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The following described parcel of pr.perty in the City of
Renton is hereby rezoned to RESIDENCE DISTRICT (R-3).as spcified below; and the
City Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to change he maps of the zoning
ordinances of .the City of Renton to show and evidence thes changes; said property
being described as follows:
North half of the Northwest Quarter of the NorthJ est Quarter
of the Northeast Quarter of Section 9, Township2 North, Range
5, E. W.M., all located'in Renton, King County, Washington
and such rezoning to be subject tothe laws and ordinances
and in compliance with .the plans .submitted by petitioners.
SECTION II: This Ordiance shall be in full force
after its passage, approval and legal publication.
