ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF TIHE.CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON
CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN
PROPERTIES WITHIN THE.CITY OF RENTON FROM SINGLE
RESIDENCE DISTRICT (R..1) TO RESIDENCE DISTRICT (R..3)
WHEREAS, under Ordinance No. 1472, as amended, and the maps adopted
in conjunction therewith, the properties hereinbelow described have heretofore
been zoned as SINGLE-RESIDENCE.DISTRICT (R_1); and
WHEREAS, a proper petition for a change of zone classification, of
said properties to RESIDENCE_ DISTRICT (R_3) has been filed with the City Clerk
of the City of Renton on or about September 17, 1958, which petition was then
duly submitted to the Planning.Commission for investigation and study, and a
public hearing having been held thereon on or about October 8, 1958, in the
City Council Chambers of the City of -Renton, all pursuant to Notice of Hearing
duly published and posted as provided by law, and said Planning Commission
having duly considered and studied said Petition and there being no written or
oral protests thereto, and the Commission having recommended to the City Council
to rezone said property as below stated;.NOW, THEREFORE,
BE.IT ORDAINED BY THE. MAYOR AND'THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RENTON AS FOLLOWS:
Section -I : The following described parcel of property in the City
of Renton is hereby rezoned to RESIDENCE DISTRICT (R_3) as specified below;
and the City Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to change the maps of
the zoning ordinance of the City of Renton to show and evidence these changes;
said property being described as follows:
Lots 1 and 2, Block b, Renton Highlands Addition,all located in
Renton, King.County, Washington.
and said rezoning to be subject to the laws and ordinances of the City of Renton
and in compliance with the plans heretofore submitted by petitioner -owner.
Section II: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage, approval and legal publication.
