HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 1723�Ej ORDINANCE NO, 1 7 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITYOFRENTON, WASHINGTON, ESTABLISHING AND FIXING CERTAIN RATES FOR THE COMPENSATION OF THE CITY'S POUND MASTER. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I: There are hereby established and fixed the following rates of payment for the services of the .Pound Master of the City of Renton, to -wit: Pick-up and disposition of Dogs . . . . . $2.50 ea. Pick-up and disposition .of Cats . . . . . . . . . . 1.00 ea. Pick. -up and disposition of dead Cats or Dogs. . . . 2.50 ea. For the care and disposition of animals when delivered to or brought to the City's Pound by the owner or custodian thereof: Female dog with. pups . . . . . . . . . . . . . . $1.25 Adult Dogs . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .75 ea. Female cat with.kittens. . . . . . .75 Kittens only . . . . . e. . . 25 ea. Pups only. . . . . . . . . . .25 ea. Adult cat. . . . . . . . . . o .50 ea. The Pound Master shall further be paid the sum of $.50 for every ##late charge" that he collects in connection with the sale of dog licenses, and the sum of $.25 for every elate charge" that is collected by any other agent of the City duly authorized to sell dog licenses. The duties of 'the Pound Master shall include the collection of license fees from the City's duly authorized sales agents, the furnishing of complete data for all animals collected and disposed of!'and as otherwise provided for in Ordinance No. 1717 . SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and legal publication. PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL this 3 day of February, 1959. Elton L.
