HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 1724ORDINANCE N0, 1 7 ) ri AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, PROVIDING FOR TRANSFER OF FUNDS BETWEEN GENERAL CLASSES'AND EXPENDITURES AND ESTABLISHING A NEW DEPARTMENT WITHIN THE CURRENT FUND. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I: For the purpose of providing additional funds for the maintenance and .operation of the below mentioned Department and in order to meet certain obligations and expenditures which could not be foreseeable at the time of the adoption of the 1959 Budget, it is hereby found necessary for the proper administration, operation and benefit of the City and certain of the City owned utilities, to transfer funds between general classes as hereinbelow provided and as authorized by Chapter 322 of the 1955 Session -Laws of the State of Washington, and such transfers are hereby found to be in the public interest. SECTION II: There is hereby created and established a new department within the "CURRENT FUND" to be hereafter known and designated as YtUTILITY BILLING« Department (No. 7008).
