SECTION I:

BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY.OF RENTON
Existing Section 5-1908 of Title V (Business Regulations),
entitled "CODE OF GENERAL ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF RENTON"
"Section 5-1908 -•: TAXICAB -ZONES: There are hereby established
the followi g taxicab zones in the City, and such zones shall be
assigned by the Council at the time of the issuing of licenses as
provided in this Ordinance:
(a) M in Street, on the east side .from a point 126 feet
n rth of the north marginal line of Third Avenue to
a point 156 feet north of said marginal line.
(b) M in Street, on the west side, between Third Avenue
a d Walla -Walla -Avenue.
(c) Wlls Street on the West side from a point 20 feet
n rth of the north marginal line of Third Avenue to
a point 40 feet north of said north line.
(d) W lls Street on .east side from a point 20 feet south
o the south marginal line of Third Avenue to a point
4 feet south of the marginal line.
(e) Wells Street on the east side from a point 38 feet
north of the north marginal line of Third Avenue to
a point 60 feet north of said north line.
"Provided, however, that there shall not be more than one taxicab
parking in said taxicab zone at any one time. It shall be unlawful
for any tax cab to park in any parking meter zone except for the
purpose of. icking up passengers upon call, and the discharging of
passengers

SECTION
S_FOLLOWS:
SECTION 5•-1?08 as amended: - TAXICAB ZONES: There are hereby established
the following taxicablzones in the City, and such zones shall be assigned by the
Council at the time of the issuing of licenses as provided in this Ordinance:
(a) Main S reet, on the east side from a point 126 feet north
of the north marginal line of Third Avenue to a point 156
feet n rth of said marginal line.
(b) Main Stlla
eet, on the west side, between Third Avenue and
Walla Avenue.
(c) Two zo es on Wells Street on the West side from a point 20
feet n rth of the north marginal line of Third Avenue to a
point 6 feet north of said north line.

(d) Two zon s on Wells Street on east side from a point 20
feet so th of the south marginal line of Third Avenue to
a point 66 feet south of the marginal line.
(e) Wells .Sreet on the east side from a point 38 feet north
of the orth marginal line of Third Avenue to a point 60
feet no th of said north line.
Provided, ho*ever, that there shall not be more than one taxicab
parking in said taxicab zone at any one time. It shall be unlawful for any
taxicab to park in anylparking meter zone except for the purpose of picking up
passengers upon call, and the.dischargi.ng of passengers.
SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage, approval and publication.
