AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, CHANGING ZONING
CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTIES IN THE CITY OF RENTON
FROM SINGLE RESIDENCE DISTRICT (R1) TO RESIDENCE DISTRICT (R2)
WHEREAS under Ordinance No. 1472 as amended, and the maps adopted
in conjunction therewith, the property hereinbelow described has heretofore been
zoned as SINGLE RESIDENCE DISTRICT (Rl); and
WHEREAS under the provisions of the aforementioned Ordinance as
amended, a proper petition for change of zone classification of said property to
RESIDENCE DISTRICT (R2) has been filed with the City Clerk of the City of Renton,
on or about February 5, 1959, which petition was then drily submitted to the Planning
Commission for investigation, public hearing and study, and a public hearing having
been held thereon on or about March 11, 1959, in the Council Chambers of the City of
Renton, all pursuant to Notice of Hearing duly published and posted as provided by
law, and said Planning Commission having duly considered and studied said petition,
and there being no oral or written protest thereto; NOW THEREFORE,
AS FOLLOWS:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON
SECTION I: The following described parcel of property in the City
of Renton is hereby rezoned to Residence District (R2) as specified below; the City
Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to change the maps of the.zoning ordinance
of the City of Renton to evidence this rezoning; said property being described as:
Lots 13, 14 and 15, Block 6, Plat;of Renton Highlands,
all loc#ted in Renton, King County, Washington
Said rezoning to be subject to the laws and ordinances of the City of Renton and in
compliance with the plans and specifications heretofore submitted by petitioner -,owner
of said property.
SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be in full farce and effect from and
after its passage, approval and legal publication.
