HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 1740ORDINANCE NO. /� l AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTCN, CHANGING ZONING ICLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY . OF RENTON FROM RESIDENCE DISTRICT (R2) to RESIDENCE DISTRICT (R4, MULTIPLE DWELLING). WHEREAS under Ordinance No. 1472 as amended, and the maps adopted in conjunction therewith, the property hereinbelow described has heretofore been zoned as RESIDENCE DISTRICT (R2); and WHEREAS under the pro vis i ons of the aforementioned Ordina roc e t a s amended, a proper petition for change of zone classification of said property to RESIDENCE DISTRICT (R4, MULTIPLE DWELLING) has been filed with the City Clerk of the City of Renton, an' ol, about-- February- 20, 1959; _: which petition was then duly submitted to the Planning Commission for investigation, public hearing and study and a public hearing having been held thereon on or about March 11, 1959 in the Council Chambers of the City of Renton, all pursuant to Notice of -Hearing duly published and posted as provided by law, and said Planning Commission having duly considered and studied said petition, and there being no oral or written protest thereto; NOW THEREFORE AS FOLLOWS: BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON SECTION I. The following described parcel of property in the City of Renton is hereby rezoned to Residence District (R4, Multiple Dwelling) a' specified b elow; the City Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to change the maps of the zoning ordinance of the !City of Renton to evidence this rezoning; said property being described as: Lots 24, 25 and 26, Block 7, Car Works Addition to the City of Renton, all located in Renton, King County, Washington Said rezoning to be subject to the laws and ordinances of the City of Renton and in compliance with the plans and specifications heretofore submitted by petitioner. owner of said property.
