Ivy FCR FAYffiENT OF THE, NECESSARY EXPENSES NECESSITATED BY SUCH Ei%AERGENCY. WHEREAS, since the adoption of the 1959.Annual Budget of the City of Renton, it has become necessary to provide for the expenditures of certain funds, all of which were not foreseeable at the time of the adoption of the 1959 Budget, including the necessity of providing sewer and water service, all of which are urgently needed in the interest of health, safety and sanitation and for the benefit of the general public; and WHEREAS, it is necessary for the proper administration, operation and maintenance of the City to authorize �-he expenditures of certain funds net provided for in the 1959 Annual City Budget, NC1,'1 THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON AS FCLLONS: SECTICN l: The foregoing recitals and facts are hereby found and determined to be true and existing, and by reason thereof the City Council does hereby declare that an emergency exists. SECTION If: There are hereby allowed and established the followin- sums for the expenditures in the following classifications established in said 1959 Budget, and said sums are appropriates for expenditures in the following classifications,, same being in addition to the provisions of said 1959 Annual 3udget, to -wit;' DEPARTMENT AND FUND CAPITAL OUTLAY TOTAL 'NATER DEFARTiAENT 1180.40 SEWER DEPARTMENT 2795.00 3975.40 SECTION 111: This Ordinance is an Emergency Ordinance which shall not be voted on until one week shall have elapsed after its introduction, and a copy thereof shall be published as a proposed Ordinance, together with a notice of the time set for voting thereon. SECTION IV: This Crdinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and legal publication, PASSED BY THE CITY CCUNCIL this 21st day of April, 1959• AFFROVED BY THE MAYOR this 21st day c APPROVED AS TO FORM: Gerard M.
