HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 1747ORDINANCE NO.I W7 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, CHANGING ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTIES IN THE CITY OF RENTON FROM RESIDENCE DISTRICT (R2) TO LIGHT INDUSTRY (L1) WHMMS under Ordinance N0. 1472, as amended, and the maps adopted in conjunction therewith, the property hereinbelow described has heretofore been zoned as RESIDENCE DISTRICT (R2); and. WHEREAS under the provisions of the aforementioned Ordinance, as amended, a proper petition for change of zone classification of said property to LIGHT INDUSTRY (Ll) has been filed with the City Clerk of the City of Renton on or about March 10, 1959, which petition was then duly submitted to the Planning Commission for investigation, public hearing and study, and a public hearing having been held thereon on or about March 25, 1959, in the Council Chambers of the City of Renton, all pursuant to Notice of Hearing duly published and posted as provided by law, and said Planning Commission having duly considered and studied said petition, and there being no oral or written protest thereto; NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RMTON AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I: The following described parcel of property in the City of Renton is hereby rezoned to Light Industry (L1) as specified below; the City Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to change the maps of the zoning ordinance of the City of Renton to evidence this rezoning; said property being described as: Lots 13 and 14, Block lig, Renton Farm Plat #2, located in Renton, King County, Washington Said rezoning to be subject to the laws and ordinances of the City of Renton and in compliance with the plans and specifications heretofore submitted by petitioner - owner of said property. SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and legal publication. PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL this 14th day of April, 1959.
