AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON AMENDING SECTION 5-109 OF TITLE V (BUSINESS REGULATIONS) OF OR- DINANCE NO. 1628 ENTITLED "CODE OF GENERAL ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF RENTON". BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I: Existing Section 5-109 (a) of Title V (Business Regulations) of Ordinance No. 1628 entitled "CODE OF GENERAL ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF RENTON" reading as follows: SECTION 5-109::. - EXEMPTIONS: The provisions of this Chapter shall not apply to: (a) Any person in respect to a business activity with respect to which the tax liability is specifically imposed on the following: Theatres, games of skill, music devices, taxicabs, peddlers, dance halls, private detectives, merchant patrolmen and where admissions are charged. BE AND THE SAME IS HEREBY AMENDED TO READ AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 5-109:",.-, AS AMENDED: - EXEMPTIONS: The provisions of this Chapter shall not apply to: (a) Any person in respect to a business activity with respect to which the tax liability is specifically imposed under applicable Ordinances relating to the regulation of and licensing of the following: Theatres -Shows, games of skill, music devices, taxicabs, peddlers, dance halls, private detectives, mer- chant patrolmen, skating rinks. whether roller skating or ice skating, golf courses, and bowling alleys.
