AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON,.WASHINGTON, CHANGING
THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE CITY
OF RENTON FROM PUBLIC USE DISTRICT'(P1) TO BUSINESS
DISTRICT (Bi).
WHEREAS, under Ordinance No. 1472, as amended, and the maps adopted in con«
junction therewith, the property hereinbelow described has heretofore.been zoned as
.PUBLIC USE DISTRICT (P1); and
WHEREAS, under the provisions of�the aforementioned Ordinance, as amended,
a proper petition for change of zone classification of said property to BUSINESS
DISTRICT (B1) has been filed with the..City-Clerk of the City of Renton on or about
May 8,, 1959, which petition was then duly submitted to the Planning Commission for
investigation, public hearing and study, and a public hearing having been held thereon
on or about May 27, 1959, in the.Council Chambers of the City ofRenton, all pursuant
to Notice of Hearing duly published and posted as provided by law, and said Planning
Commission having duly considered 'and studied said petition and there being no pro»
tests thereto, NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The following described parcel of property in the City of
Renton is hereby rezoned to BUSINESS DISTRICT (B1) as specified below; the -City Engineer
is hereby authorized and directed to :change the maps of the zoning ordinance of the
City of Renton to evidence this rezoning; said property being described as follows:
Lot 20, Block 16, Town of Renton,'sall located in Renton,
King County,.Washihaton, as per plat recorded in Volume 1
of'Plats records on Page 1B, cords of King County,
said rezoning to be subject to the laws and ordinances of the City of.Renton and.
in compliance with the plans and specifications heretofore submitted by,Petitioner»
owner of said property.

SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be in.full force and effect from and
after,its passage, approval and legal publication.
