AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,.CHANGING
'THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION=OF CERTAIN PROPERTY.IN THE CITY
OF RENTON FROM RESIDENCE DISTRICT (R3) TO RESIDENCE
DISTRICT (MT, MULTIPLE DWELLINGS)
WHEREAS, under Ordinance No. 1472, as amended, and the maps adopted in con-
junction therewith, the property hereinbelow described has heretofore been zoned as
RESIDENCE DISTRICT (R3); and
WHEREAS, under the provisions of�the aforementioned Ordinances as amended,
a proper petition for change of zone classification of said property to RESIDENCE
DISTRICT (R4, MULTIPLE DWELLINGS) has been filed with the City Clerk of the City of
Renton on or about May 13, 1959, which petition was then duly submitted to the
Planning Commission for investigation, public hearing and study, and a public hearing
having been held thereon on or about May 27, 1959, in the Council Chambers of the City
of Renton, all pursuant to Notice of Hearing duly published and posted as provided
by law, and said Planning Commission having duly considered and studied said petition
and there being no oral or written protests' thereto, NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON

AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The following described parcel of property in the City of
:Renton is hereby rezoned to RESIDENCE -DISTRICT (R4, MULTIPLE DWELLINGS) as specified
below; the City.Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to change the maps of the
zoning ordinance of the City of Renton to evidence this rezoning; said property
being described as follows:
The South 120 feet of the East 50ifeet of Government Lot 17,
lying North of -Seventh Avenue and,West of Gunnts Addition to
Renton, King County, Washington, All located in Section 18',
Township 23.North, Range 5'E.W.M.,.Renton,:King County, Washington,
said rezoning to be subject to the laws and ordinances of the.City of Renton and
in compliance with the plans and specifications heretofore submitted by Petitioner.
