AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, CHANGING
THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF -CERTAIN PROPERTIES WITHIN THE
CITY.OF RENTON FROM RESIDENCE DISTRICT (R..6) TO BUSINESS
DISTRICT (Bl).
WHEREAS, under Ordinance No. 1472, as amended, and the maps adopted in con-
junction therewith, the property hereinbelow described has heretofore been zoned as
RESIDENCE DISTRICT,known as R»6 under the -King County Zoning Regulations; and
.WHEREAS, under the provisions :of the aforementioned Ordinance, as amended,
a proper petition for change of zone classification of said property to BUSINESS
DISTRICT (B1) has been filed with the City Clerk of .the City of Renton on or about
April 24, 1959, which petition was then duly submitted to the Planning Commission for
investigation, public hearing and study, and .a public hearing having been held thereon
on or about May 27, 1959, in the Council Chambers of the City of Renton, all pursuant
to Notice of Hearing duly published and posted as provided by law, and said Planning
Commission having duly considered and studied said .Petition and there being no protests
thereto; NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The fallowing described parcel of property in the.City of
Renton is hereby rezoned to BUSINESS DISTRICT "(Bl) as specified below; the City
Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to change the maps of the zoning .ordinances
of the City of Renton to evidence this .rezoning; said property being described as
follows:
Lots 17 and 18, Block 14,.C. D. Hillmants.Earlington Gardens
Division #1, all located in Renton, King County, Washington,
said rezoning to be subject to the laws and ordinances of the City of Renton and

in compliance with the plans and specifications heretofore submitted by Petitioner -
owner of said property.
SECTION II: This.Ord'inance shall be in full force and effect from and

after its .passage, approval.and legal publication.
