AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, CHANGING
THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION.OF CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN THE
CITY OF RENTON FROM SUBURBAN RESIDENCE DISTRICT (91) TO
BUSINESS DISTRICT (B1).

WHEREAS, under Ordinance No. 1472, as amended, and the maps adopt&d in
conjunction therewith, the property hereinbelow described as heretofore been zoned
as SUBURBAN RESIDENCE DISTRICT (S1); and
WHEREAS, under the provisions of the aforementioned Ordinance, as amended,
a proper petition for change of zone classification of said property to BUSINESS
DISTRICT (Bl) has been .filed ;with the City Clerk of the City of Renton on or .about
June 8, 1959, which petition was then duly ,submitted to the Planning Commission for
investigation, public hearing and study, and :a public hearing having been held thereon
on or about June 24,, 1959, in the Council Chambers of the City of Renton, .all pursuant
to Notice of Hearing duly published and posted as provided by law, and said Planning
Commission having duly considered and studied said Petition and there being no protests
thereto; NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF TI4E CITY OF RENTON
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The following described parcel of property in the City of
Renton is hereby rezoned to BUSINESS DISTRICT (B1) as specified below; the City
Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to change the .maps of the zoning ordinances of,
the City of.Renton.to evidence this rezoning; said property being described as follows:
That portion of the southeast quarterrof the -southwest quarter of
Section 4, Township 23.North,.Range 5 East W.M., desaibed as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the westerly.line of State -Road
No. 2 with the northerly line of County Road -No. -431; thence westerly
along said northerly line to the westerly line of east half of said
subdivision; thence northerly along said westerly line 90.00 feet to
the true point of beginning; thence continuing northerly along said
westerly line 90.00 feet; thence east to the westerly line of said
State.Road; thence southwesterly along,said westerly line to a point
east of the true point of beginning; thence west -to the true -point
of beginnings all located in Renton, King County,:Washington,
said rezoning to be subject to the laws and ordinances of the City of Renton and
in compliance with the plans and specifications heretofore submitted by Petitioner•
owner of said property.
SECTION IIs This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
