AN ORDINANCE OF THE. CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,, CHANGING
THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTIES WITHIN THE
CITY OF RENTON FROM RESIDENCE DISTRICT (R2)3, (R6) TO BUSINESS.
DISTRICT (B1).
WHEREAS, under Ordinance No. 1472, as amended, and the maps adopted in con-
junction therewith, the property hereinbelow described has heretofore been zoned .as
RESIDENCE DISTRICT (R2) and (R6) respectively, under the King County Zoning Regu-
lations-; and
WHEREAS, the hereinbelow described property has heretofore been duly
annexed to the City of.Renton.; and
WHEREAS, under the provisions of the aforementioned Ordinance, as amended,
a proper petition for change of zone classification of said property to BUSINESS
DISTRICT (B1) has been filed with the City Clerk of the City of Renton on or about
June 10, 1959, which petition was then duly submitted to the Planning Commission for
investigation, public hearing and .study, and a public hearing having been held thereon
on or about June 24, 1959, in the Council Chambers of the City of Renton, all pursuant
to Notice of Hearing duly published and posted .as provided by law, and said Planning
Commission having duly considered and studied said Petition and there being no
protests thereto; NOW THEREFORE,
BE. IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY -COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The following described parcels of property in the City of.
Renton is hereby rezoned to BUSINESS DISTRICT (B1) as specified below; the City
Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to change the maps of the zoning ordinances
of the City of Renton to evidence this rezoning;.said property being described as
follows:
Lots 1 to 7, inclusive,: Block 27, C. D. Hillman's Earlington ,
Gardens Division No. 1, and Lots 5 to. 28, inclusive, Block 16,
C. D. Hillman's.Earlington Gardens:Division No. 1, all located
in Renton, King County,.Washington,
and said.rezoning to be subject to the laws and ordinances of the City of Renton
and subject to the determination and control by the City Engi:neering.Department
pertaining to all matters of ingress and egress for vehicular traffic from and
to the herein described premises and primary State Highway No. I.L.
SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage, approval and legal publication.
