AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTIES WITHIN THE CITY OF RENTON FROM SUBURBAN RESIDENCE DISTRICT (S1) TO LIGHT INDUSTRY DISTRICT (L1). WHEREAS, under Ordinance No. 1472, as amended, and the maps adopted in conn junction therewith, the property hereinbelow described has heretofore been zoned as SUBURBAN RESIDENCE DISTRICT (S1); and WHEREAS, under the provisions of the aforementioned Ordinance, as amended, a proper petition for change of zone classification of said property to LIGHT INDUSTRY DISTRICT (L1) has been filed with the City Clerk of the.City of Renton on or about June 8, 1959, which petition was then duly submitted to the Planning Commission for investigation, public hearing and .study, and a public hearing having been held thereon on or about June 24, 1959, in the Council -Chambers of the City of .Renton, all pursuant to Notice of Hearing duly published and posted as provided by law, and said Planning Commission having .duly considered and studied said Petition and there being no protests thereto; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I: The following described parcel of property in the City of Renton is hereby rezoned to LIGHT INDUSTRY DISTRICT (L1) as specifi-ed below; the City Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to change the maps of the zoning ordinance of the City of Renton to evidence this rezoning; said property being described as follows: That certain parcel of property bounded on the north by 7th Avenue, on the east by a line 233.42 feet east of the center line of Shattuck Street and running from.7th Avenue to Grady Way bearing :South 0055# 54" west, and the south by Grady Way,. and on the west by Primary State Highway No. 5, all situated in Renton, .King County, Washington, and said rezoning to be subject to the laws and ordinances of the City of -Renton and subject to the determination and control by the City Engineering Department pertaining to all matters of ingress and egress for vehicular traffic from and to the herein described premises and Primary State Highway No. 54A,- and adjacent streets. SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and legal publication. PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL this 1 th of July, 1959. Elton L.
