,�..�"�;'.' AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DECLARING
{`;� THAT AN II�fERGENCY EXISTS AND APPROPRIATING MONIES FROM
CITY FUNDS FOR THE PiIRPOSE OF PROVIDING FOR PAYMENT OF THE
NECESSARY EXPENSES NECESSITATED BY SUCH EMERGENCY.
WHEREAS, since the adoption of the 1959 Annual Budget of the City of
Renton, it has become necessary to provide for the expenditures of certain funds,
all of which were not foreseeable at t�►e time of the adoption of said 1959 Budget,
including the necessity of providing water service and installation to residents
of the City of Renton, all of which are urgently needed in the interest of health,
safety and sanitation and for the benefit of the general public; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary for the proper administration, operation and
maintenance of the City to authorize the expenditures of certain funds not pro•.
vided for in the 1959 Annual City Budget; NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND TFiE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The foregoing recitals and facts are hereby found and
determined to be true and existing, and by reason thereof the City Council does
hereby de�lare that an emergency exists.
SECTION II: There are hereby allowed and established the following sums
for expenditures in the following classifications established in said 1959 Budget,
and said sums are appropriated for expenditures in the following classifications,
same being in addition to the provisions of said 1959 Annual Budget, to-wit:
DEPARTMENT AND FUND MATERIAL AND SUPPLIES CAPITAL OUTLAY TOTAL
WATER DEPARTMENT..

SECTION III; This Ordinance is an Emergency Ordinance which shall not be i
voted on until one week shall have elapsed after its introduction, and a copy thereof
shall be published as a proposed Ordinance, together with a notice of the time set
for voting thereon.
