HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 1797A ORDINANCE NO. 1777 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON C -HANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTIES WITHIN THE CITY OF RENTON FROM SINGLE RESIDENCE DISTRICT (R1) TO RESIDENCE DISTRICT (R-3) WHEREAS, under Ordinance No. 1472, as amended, and the maps adopted in conjunction therewith, the property hereinbelow described has heretofore been zoned as SINGLE RESIDENCE DISTRICT (R1); and WHEREAS under the provisions of the aforementioned Ordinance, as amended, a proper petition for change of zone classification of said property to RESIDENCE DISTRICT (R-3) has been filed with the City Clerk of the City of Renton on or about September 17, 1959, which petition was then duly submitted to the Planning Commission for investigation, public hearing and study, and a public hearing having been held thereon on or about October 28, 1959, in the Council Chambers of the City of Renton, all pursuant to Notice of Hearing duly published and posted as provided by law, and said Planning Commission having duly considered and studied said Petition, and there t being no protest thereto; NOW THEREFORE, FOLLOWS: BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON AS SECTION I: The following described parcel of property in the City of Renton is hereby rezoned to RESIDENCE DISTRICT (R3) as specified below; the City Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to change the maps of the zoning ordinances of the City of -Renton to evidence this rezoning; said property being described as follows: Tract 15, Renton Cooperative Coal Co. .Plat N_o. 1 , all situate in Renton, King County, Washington. said rezoning to be subject to the laws and ordinances of the City of.Renton and in compliance with the plans and specifications heretofore submitted by petitioners - owners of said property. SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and legal publication. PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL this 10th day of N - 1 - mmbber, ' 1959. H.
