AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON APS ORDINANCE N.O. 1791,
AS AMENrED, RELATING TO AND CORRECTING THE LEGAL DESCRIPTION OF
CERTAIN TERRITORY HERETOFORE ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF RENTON
WHEREAS. Ordinance No. 1791 was duly approved and passed by the Mayor and
City Council of the City of Renton on September 8, 1959, relating to the annex-
ation of certain territory to the City of Renton, which Ordinance was then duly
amended under date of October 13, 1959, as per Ordinance No. 1800, and
WHEREAS it has been determined that the northerly boundary of said property
so annexed to the City should be clarified and fixed and in order to avoid any
confusion or uncertainty, NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The legal description as contained in City of Renton Ordinance
No. 1791,as•an.;nded by Ordinance No. 1800, be and the same is hereby corrected,
amended and modified to read as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the South line of Section 5 TUP.
23N, Range 5 E.W.M. produced westerly with the inner Harbor line of the
Lake Washington shorelands; thence northeasterly and continuing north-
westerly, northerly and northeasterly along said inner Harbor line of the
Lake Washington shorelands to an intersection with a limiting line, said
line being described as follows - Beginning at the intersection of the
Government Meander line with the east line of the SW 1/4 of Sec. 29 TWP.
24N R 5 E.W.M. thence south along said east line 156 feet, thence east
62 feet more or less to the westerly right of way line of the Northern
Pacific Railroad, thence southwesterly along said westerly right of way
line 156 feet to the true point of beginning of said limiting line, thence
N 58020, W 4601, thence N 67040, W 210t to an intersection with the inner
Harbor line of the Lake Washington Shordlands - thence southeasterly
along said limiting line and said limiting line produced easterly at a
bearing of S 580201 E to the westerly line of Primary State Highway No,
1 FA 1-405, thence southerly along the West line of Primary State High-
way No. 1, FAI-405 to the North line of Tract 108; C. D. Hillman's Lake
Washington Garden of Eden, Division No. 2; thence West along the North
line of said Tract 108 to the East line of 106th Ave. S.E.; thence North
along the East line of 106th Ave. S.F. to the North line of S.E. 84th
Street; thence West along the North line of S.F. 84th Street to the East
line of Lake Washington Boulevard S.E.; thence Southerly along the East
line of Lake Washington Boulevard S.E. to the Northwesterly line of
Tract 47, Eldon Acres Addition; thence Northeasterly along the Northwest-
erly lines of Tract 47 and 33, Eldon Acres Addition to the North line of
Tract 32, Eldon Acres Addition produced West; thence East along the North
line of said Tract 32 produced West to the Northeasterly line of 102nd
Place; thence Southeasterly along the Northeasterly line of 102nd Place
to the Northerly line of S.E. 98th Street; thence Easterly along the
Northerly line of S. E. 98th Street to the West line of 106th Ave. S.B;
thence North along the west line of 106th Ave. S. L. to the North line
of Tract 14, Eldon Acres Addition produced West; thence East along the
North line of said Tract 14, produced West to the East line of Primary
State Highway No, 1, FAI-405; thence South along the East line of Primary

State Hig1way No, 1, FAI-405 to the South line of Sec. 5, TWP. 23 N,
R 5 E.W.M; thence West along the South line of said Section 5 and said
South line produced westerly to the intersection with the inner Harbor
line of the Lake Washington Shorelands, the point of beginning; however
excluding that land lying south of S.L. 80th Street and North of the
South line of S.E. 84th Street easterly from the East line of Lake
Washington Boulevard S.E.; but except that portion of Government Lot
No. 1 lying south of S.F. 80th Street; Southeasterly of Lake Washington
Boulevard S.E., West of State Higbway No.. 1, FAT -405 and Northeasterly
-of a line running North 62059105« West from a point South 1042/1311 East,
986.85 feet from the Nortbeast corner of said Government Lot No. 1, all
situate in King County, Washington.
SECTION II: All of the provisions, terms and conditions of Ordinances
No. 1791 and No. 1800, except as expressly modified and amended hereby, shall
remain in full force and effect.
SECTION III: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after passage, approval and legal publication as provided by law. Certified
copies of this Ordinance shall be filed with the Board of County Commissioners
of King County, State of Washington, and such other governmental agencies as
provided by law.
