AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON$ CHANGING THE
ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTIES WITHIN THE CITY
OF RENTON FROM SINGLE RESIDENCE DISTRICT (R1.) TO RESIDENCE
DISTRICT (R3) AND FROM RESIIIFNCE DISTRICT (R2) TO RESIDENCE
DISTRICT (R3}
WHEREAS, under Ordinance No. 11172, as amended, and the maps adopted in
conjunction therewith, the properties hereinbelow described have heretofore
been zoned as SINGLE RESIDENCE DISTRICT (R1) and RESIDENCE DISTRICT (R2)
respectively; and
WHEREAS under the provisions of the aforementioned Ordinance, as amended,
a proper petition for change of zone classification of said properties to
RESIDENCE DISTRICT (R3) has been filed with the City Clerk of the City of
Renton on or about October 26, 1959, which petition was then duly submitted
to the Planning Commission for investigation, public hearing and study, and
a public hearing having been held thereon on or about November 12, 1959, in
the Council Chambers of the City of Renton, all pursuant to Notice of Hearing
duly published and posted as provided by law, and said Planning Commission
having duly considered and studied said Petition, and there being no protest
thereto; NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION Is The following described parcels of property in the City of
Renton are hereby rezoned to RESIDENCE DISTRICT (R3) as specified below; the
City Engineer is hereby authorised and directed to change the maps of the
zoning ordinances of the City of Renton to evidence this rezoning; said pro—
Vperties being described as follows:
Lots 9, 10, 11, 12, 133 14 and 15, Block 6, Renton Highlands,
Renton, Ring County, Washington
said rezoning to be subject to the laws and ordinances of the City of Renton
and in compliance with the plans and specifications heretofore submitted by
petitioners - owners of said property.
SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage, approval and legal publication.
