AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, CHANGING
THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTIES WITHIN
TRE CITY OF RENTON FROM RESIDENCE DISTRICT' (R-3) TO
BUSINESS DISTRIC2: (B-1).
WHEREAS, under Ordinance No. 11.1.72, as amended, and the maps adopted in
conjunction therewith, the properties hereinbelow described have heretofore
been zoned as residence district,,- (R-3); and
WHEREAS, under the provisions of said Ordinance, as amended, proper `
petitions for change of zone classification of said properties to Business
District have been filed with the City Clerk of the City of Renton on or about
November 25, 1959, which petitions were then duly submitted to the Planning
Commission for investigation, public hearing and study, and a public hearing
having been held thereon on or about December 9, 1959, in the Council Chambers
of the City of Renton, all pursuant to Notice of Hearing to be published and
posted as provided by law, and said Planning Commission having duly considered.
and studied said petitions, and there being no protest thereto; NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON
AS FOLLM : -
SECTION I: The following described parcel of property in the City of
Renton is hereby rezoned to Business District (B-1) as specified below; the
City Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to change the maps of the Zoning
Ordinances of the City of Renton to evidence this rezoning; said properties
being described as
Block 43 of Renton Highlands Addition No. 2 as per corrected
Plat recorded in Volume 57 of Plats, page 92, records of King
County, all located in Renton, King County, Washington.
said rezoning to be subject to the laws and Ordinances of the City of Renton
and in compliance with the plans and specifications heretofore submitted by
petitioners -owners of said properties.
SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage, approval and legal publication&
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL this -2. day of December, 1959.
