BE IT ORDaINED BY TETE C�TY CflURtCIL OF Tf-iE CITY QF REl`1TON: SEC'IrIQN I: WHER��AS pursuant to Resolution No. 733 adopted by the City Cnuncil of Renton, declaring its intention to order the improvement hereinafter set f orth, nursuant to petitions filed for such improvement, a public hearing was duly held on Ma� 17, 1949, at the City Couneil Char,nbers at the time and place specified in said Resolution which was previously published in aecordance with law; and at said hearing no one appeared in opposition to the making of such improveinent , and no protests were filed or received; and after such r�earing the City Council havir� voted and deci�ed to proceed with such improvement in the manner hereinafter specif'ied, and avthorized the City Engineer to proceed with t he calling of bids for the same, and bids have been called and received; A10W, TNEP,�;�bT�E , the said action of' the C3-ty Council and City Engineer is hereby ratified and confi rmed, and it is ordained that the f ollowing described area in the City of Renton, Washington, be improved by construction and installation of sanitary sewers with man-holes and appurtenances, and that such other work be done as may be necessary in connection therewith, all in accordance with plans prepared by the City Engineer and on file in his office and with the Cit;T Clerk; said area being a s follows: Beginning 30 feet YJest a nd 80 foet South of the intersection of center lines of Sixth ,p,venu� and Shattuck Street in the City of Renton, King County, ��ashi}�gton; running thence West 120 feet; thence rrortr� 50 feet ; thonce West to the �ast line of State Highway 1�?0. 5; thence northerly along said East line of highway to the South line of C P.2 & St. Paul RAilway Company rig ht of way; thence Easterly along s�id �'outh line to the West line of ghattuck ;3treet; thence South along said V�lest li ne t o p oi nt of be gi nni ng. SECTION 2s The cost and expense of' said improvenient including a11 necessary and incidental exnenses, shall be borne by and assessed against the property included in the assessmsnt district hereinafter created, in accordanae with law. 'I'h.e City of Renton shall not be liable in any manner for any portion of the cost and e�pense of said improvemont. SECTIQN 3: There is hereby established a Local Improvement District to be called "Local Improvement District No. ��,g »� which district i��x�dr�����'�x�xx��3��s shall consist of the area to be improved, as hereinabove in Section 1 described. \ . , � . _. �� . . SECTI ON 4: The cost and expense of s aid improvement , shall be defrayed by special assessments payable by the mode of �immediate payment» as defined by law and by ordinance �'the City of Renton. iNarrants bearing interest at the rate of five �5) per cent per annum .until paid shall be issued to tFre contractor for the redemption of as many of the warrants issued on the Local Improver�ent District fund on estimates of the City Engineer, as may not be redeemed in cash.
