UNZ I op AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AND CONFIRMING THE ASSESSMENT AND ASSESSMENT ROLL OF LOCAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 228 FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF AN AREA ADJACENT TO SIXTH AVENUE AND SEI ATTUCK STREET, and certain parts of certain ether street and avenues, all in the City of Renton, under Ordinance No. 1345, and levying and assessing the amounts thereof against the several lots, tracts, parcels of land and other pro- perty as shown on said roll, and establishing a Local Improvement Fund. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON: Section 1: That the assessment and assessment roll of Local Improve- ment District No. 228 for the improvement of an area adjacent to.Sixth Avenue and Shattuck Street, described as follows: Beginning 30 feet West and 80 feet South of the intersection of center lines of Sixth Avenue and Shattuck Street in the City of Renton, King County, Washington; running thence West 120 feet; thence North 50 feet; thence West to the East line of State Highway No. 5; thence northerly along said East line of Highway to the South line of C M & St. Paul Railway Com- pany right of way; thence Easterly along said South line to the West line of Shattuck Street; thence South along said West line to point of beginning. and certain parts of certain other streets and avenues, all in the City of Renton, by construction and installation of sanitary sewer with man- holes and appurtenances and such other work as may be necessary in connection therewith in accordance with plans prepared by the City Engineer under Ordinance No. 1345, as the same now stands, be, and the same is, hereby in all things approved and confirmed. Section 2: That each of the lots, tracts, parcels of land and other property shown upon said roll is hereby declared to be specially benefitted by said improvement in at least the amount charged against the same and that the assessment appearing against the same is in pro- portion to the several assessments appearing upon said roll. There is hereby levied and assessed against each such lot, tract, parcel of land and other property appearing upon such roll the amount finally charged against the same thereon. Section 3: For the purpose of this improvement there is hereby created and established a special fund to be called "Local Improvement District Fund, District No. 228:1 -1- Section 4; This ordinance shall be in full force and effect five (5) days from and after its passage, approval and legal publication.
