WHEREAS the City of Renton is the owner of fee title to the tract of real estate hereinafter mentioned; and whereas the East 250 feet of said entire tract has heretofore been set aside for use as a public park under the name of Motherts Park; now.. thereforep BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTONs Section 1: The following described tract of real estates, situated in the City of Rentonj, County of Kings State of Washingtons to wits Portion of the Northwest quarter of the Southwest quarter of Section 8p Twp. 23 North, Range 5 East W.M.s described as follows t Beginning at the intersection of the North line of said sub- division with the West line of Park Avenue in Renton Farm, Flat according to plat thereof recorded in Volume 100 of Plats# i� Records of said Countyj, produced North; thence South along said West line to a point 215 feet North of the South line of said sub -division; thence West 107.5 feet; thence South 185 feet; thence West and parallel to and distant 30 feet from the South line of said sub -division to the center line ofPelly Avenue produced; thence North along said center line 630 feet; thence West and parallel to said south sub -division line to the East line of the Northern Pacific Railway right - of -away; thence North along said right-of-way line to the North line of said sub -division; thence East to poiAt of be- ginning., (subject to present easement of the City of Seattle for transmission line right-of-way); LESS AND ECEBTING the East 250 feet of above tract., previously set aside for park purposes., also LESS AND EXCEPTING the westerly 293 feet there of which are hereby excluded.* is hereby set aside to be used for public park purposess, and uses not inconsistent therewith. Said tract herein set aside: being contiguous to the present existing Motherts Park areas, shall likewise be known by the name "Motherts Park"$ and be used in conjunction therewith under the management of the City Park Board; reserving to the City.. however., the right to use and let or lease for any purpose the structures now existing thereon.. and to receive the revenues therefrom into its General Fund. -2 - SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall. be in force and effect five days from and after its passage, approval and publication.
