ORDINANCE N0. 1366
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF R.ENTON, WASHINGTON, CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION
OF CERTAIN TRACTS IN THE CITY FRDM RESI.DENTI.AL` TOTCOMtUI MI -AL USE DISTRICT.
WHEREAS under Ordinance No. 1164 and the maps adopted in conjunction therewith
as amended., the tracts hereinbelow described have heretofore been zoned as residential
use districts and
WHEREAS under the provisions of Section XV of aforesaid Ordinance.. a proper
petition for change of zone classification of said tracts to Commaercial use District
has been filed with the Clerk of the City of Renton., and the Planning Co^mission of
said City having recommended such.change of classification., and public hearing having
been had on said petition by the City Council on December 6, 1949s pursuant to Notice
of Hearing regularly publisheds and no protests having been made or filedp NOW

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
See&ion 1: The following described tracts in the City of Renton are hereby
rezoned and reclassified as a Comamercial Use District, and the City Engineer is hereby
directed to change the maps of the zone ordinance of the City to show this change; said
tracts being described as :
The westerly 200 feet in widths measured at right angles to Sunset Highway.,
of the following described property:
That portion of the northwest quarter of the northeast quarter of Section 170
Township 231, North Range 52, EWM; described as follows:
Beginning at monument at the intersection of Railroad Avenue and Bronson Way
North in Car Works Addition to Renton., according to plat thereof recorded in
Vol. 15 of platsl page 47 of records of King County., Wash; thence north 70033,40"
east 408.00 feet to the east line of Sunset Highway; thence on said east line
north 22044140" east 1109.69 feet to the true point of beginning; thence south
6707.5120" -east 754.60 feet to the west line of Old Issaquah Road; thence along
said west line northerly 220 feet more or less to the West line of Block 7s in
Windsor Hills Addition to Renton., according to plat thereof recorded in Vol. 38
of plats., page 23s records of King County. Wash; thence on the west line of
said Block 7, North 0042140" East 458.40 feet to the south line of Block is in
said plat; thence on the south line of said Block 1 north 89026147" west to the
southwest corner of Lot 19 in said Block 1; thence on the west line of said.
lot 19 north 40.2 feet more or less to the north line of said Section 17;
thence on said north line west 290.00 feet more or less to the east line of
Sunset Highway; thence on said east line southerly 436.00 feet more or less to
true point of beginning, King County., Washington.
Section 2: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect five (5) days from
and after its passages approval and publication.
