ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE of the City of Renton, Washington, changing the
classification of certain tracts near Cedar River Park in the City
of Renton from residential to commercial use district.
WHEREAS under Ordinance No. 1164 and the maps adopted in con-
junction therewith as amended, the tractshereinbelow described have
heretofore been zoned as residential use district; and
WHEREAS under the provisions of Section XV of aforesaid Ordinance
a proper petition for nhin�e of zone classification of said tracts
to commercial use district has been filed with the Clerk of the
City of Renton and the Planning Commission of said City having reco-
mmended such change of classification and public��,h&aning having been
held on said petition by the City Council on March 2, 1948 pursuant
to notice regularly published and no protests having been made or
filed, now therefore
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Sec.lThe following described tracts in the City of Renton are hereby
rezoned and reclassified as a commercial use district, and the City
Engineer is hereby directed to change the maps of the zoning ordinance
of the City to show this change, said tracts being described as follows;
Beginning Center Section 17-23-5 E. W. M. Running thence S. 890
45' 17" E 898.30 ft. to East boundary line of Maple Valley Road
thence N. 410 07' 2911 W 336.15 ft. to true beginning. Thence
N. 410 071 29" W. 642.8 ft. thence N. 480 521290
1" E. 100 ft.
thence S. 410 071 2911 E. 730.84 ft- thence N. 45' 17" W.
133.23 ft. to the true point of beginning.
Beginning at a point on the South Line of the Old Issaquah Road
No. 174 (now Bronson Way). 513.74 ft. East and 30 ft- south of
the Sunset Highway (State_Road #2) Running thence N. 810 581 E.
300 ft. thence S. 70 23' 2911 E. 100 ft. thence S. 810 581 W.
300 ft. thence N. 70 23' 2911 W. 100 ft. to beginning.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect five
days from and after its passage,
