AN ORDINANCE PROVIDtNG FOR THE t_4PR,OVE1UtENT OF All streets in Windsor Hills Addition to Renton by construction of standard six-foot concrete sidewalks, widening of existing four -foot sidewalks to six feet, with crossings where necessary; and other necessary work in connection therewith; all in accordance with Resolution No. -7-0.1---- of the City Council of the City of Renton, creating a local improvement district therefor, and providing that payment for said improvement be made by special assessments upon property in said district payable by the mode of "Immediate Payment." THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: That all streets in Windsor Hills Addition to Renton be improved by construction of standard six-foot concrete sidewalks, widening of existing four -foot sidewalks to six feet, with crossings where neces- sary, and that such other work be done as may be necessary in connection therewith, according to the plans and specifications therefor prepared under the direction of the City Engineer and on file in the office of the City Clerk. Section 2: That the cost and expense of said improvement, including all necessary and incidental expenses, shall be borne by and assessed against the property included in the assessment district herein- after created in accordance with law. The City of Renton shall not be liable in any manner for any portion of the cost and expense of said improvement, except as herein provided. Section 3: That th^er^e. Jj's hereby established a local improvement district to be called "Local Im- provement District No. bs.L��J__.... " which said district is described as follows: "All the property between the termini of said improvement abutting upon, adjacent, vicinal or proximate to such portion of said streets and avenues to a distance back from the marginal lines there- of, as provided by law." Section 4: That the cost and expense of said improvement shall be defrayed by special assess- ments payable by the mode of "Immediate Payment" as defined by taw and the charter and ordinances of the City of Renton. Warrants bearing interest at the rate of ___4_ per cent. per annum until paid, shall be issued to the contractor for the redemption of as many of the warrants issued on the Local Im- provement District Fund on estimates of the City Engineer, as may not be redeemed in cash.
