AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY 'OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, FIXING THE AMOUNT OF TAX LEVIES NECESSARY TO MEET THE AMOUNT OF ESTIMATED EXPENSES FOR THE YEAR 1949 LESS THE TOTAL ESTIMATED REVENUES FROM SOURCES OTHER THAN TAXATION, INCLUDING AVAILABLE SURPLUS. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHING- TON, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I: The total amount of estimated expenses required for the City of Renton for the year 1949 is the sum of 8461076.34 , plus the sum of $100,000.00 for swimming pool to be met by bond issues; the total estimated revenues from sources other than taxation, including available surplus, is the sum of # 631,337.6o ; the amount necessary to be raised by taxation is the sum of $ 2149738.74 . SECTION 2: There is hereby levied and assessed against the tax- able property, real ed personal, within the corporate limits of the City of Renton, Washington, for the purpose of raising the necessary revenues for said City for the year 1949, the following amounts, to -wit: Assessed Valuation $13,421,171.00 For Current Expense.Fund 4.00 Mills For Library Fund 1.50 it For Park Fund 1.40 n For Athletic Field (Park) Fund 0.60 For City Street Fund 1.85 1i For Cumulative Reserve Fund 1182 1.35 For Cumulative Reserve Fund 1183 1.00 " For Cumulative Reserve Fund 1184 2.30' For Firemen' s -Pens ion Fund 1.00 Total 15.o0 For Swimridng Pool Bond & Interest Redemption Fund 0611 Grand total 16.00 " $ 139421.17 $ 214,238.74 _ SECTION 3: A certified copy of this Ordinance shall be transmitted to the King County Commissioners as provided by law. SECTION 4: This Ordiance shall be in full force and effect five (5) days from and after its passage, approval and publi"ttnn.
