AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AND CONFIRMING THE ASSESSMENT AND ASSESS-
MENT ROLL OF LOCAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 222 FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF
Shattuck Street between 3rd Avenue and 5th Avenue by paving with as-
phaltic concrete under Ordinance No. 1276, and levying and assessing
the amounts thereof against the several lots, tracts, parcels of land
and other property as shown on said roll, and establishing a Local
Improvement Fund.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: That the assessment and assessment roll of Local Improve-
ment District No. 222 for the improvement of Shattuck Street between 3rd
Avenue and 5th Avenue by paving with asphaltic concrete under Ordinance
No. 1276, as the same now stands, be, and the same is, hereby in all things
approved and confirmed.
Section 2: That each of the lots, tracts, parcels of land and other
property shown upon said roll is hereby declared to be specially bene-
fitted by said improvement in at least the amount charged against the
same and that the assessment appearing against the same is in proportion
to the several assessments appearing upon said roll. There is hereby
levied and assessed against each such lot, tract, parcel of land and
other property appearing upon said roll the amount finally charged against
the same thereon.
Section 3: For the purpose of this improvement there is hereby
created and established a special fund to be called "Local Improvement
Fund, District No. 222; and funds accumulating therein shall be trans-
ferred to the City General Fund in reimbursement of sums heretofore
transferred therefrom to a special fund designated "Construction
Project Fund No. 26-1-230" as matching funds (for State Contribution)
and expended in payment for above improvements.
Section 4: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect five
(5) days from and after its passage, approval and legal publication.
