ORDINANCE NO. 1292
AN OBDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, FIXING THE AMOUNT OF TAX LEVIES
NECESSARY TO MEET THE AMOUNT OF ESTIMATED EXPENSES FOR THE YEAR 1948 LESS THE TOTAL
ESTIMATED REVENUES FROM SOURCES OTHER THAN TAXATION, INCLUDING AVAILABLE SURPLUS.

The City Council of the City of Renton, Washington, do ordain as follows:
Section 1: The total amount of estimated expenses required for the City of
Renton for the year 1948 is the sum of $7771,723.78; (plus the sum of $100,000.00 for
SWimmi,ng Pool to be met by Bond Issues); The total estimated revenues from sources
other than taxation including available surplus, is the sum of $600,012.14; The amount
necessary, to be raised by taxation is the sum of $177,731.64.
Section 2: There is hereby levied and assessed against the taxable property,
real and personal, within the corporate limits of the City of Renton, Washington, for
the purpose of raising the necessary revenues for said city for the year 1948 the
following amounts, towit:

Section 3: A certified copy of this Ordinance shall be transmitted to the
King County Commissioners as provided by law.

Section 4: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
five (5) days from and after its passage, approval and legal pub-
lication.
