ORDINANCE NO. 1285
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, CHANGING
THE CLASSIFICATION OF LOTS FIVE TO SEVENTEEN, INCLUSIVE, IN BLOCK
FIVE OF RENTON REAL ESTATE FIRST ADDITION TO RENTON FROM RESIDENT-
IAL TO COMMERCIAL USE DISTRICT.
WHEREAS under Ordinance No. 1164 and the maps adopted in
conjunction therewith, as amended, Lots Five to Seventeens in -
elusive, in Block Five of Renton Real Estate First Addition to
Renton have heretofore been zoned as residential use district; and
WHEREAS under the provisions of Section XV of aforesaid
ordinance ala,"'. proper petition for change of zone classification
of said lots to commercial use district has been filed with the
Clerk of the City of Rentons and the Planning Commission of said
City having recommended such chaige of classification, and public
hearing having been held on said petition by the City Council pur-
suant. to notice regularly published, and no protests having been
filed; now, therefore
The City Council of the City of Renton, Washingtons do
ordain as follows:
Section 1: Lots Five, Six, Seven, Eights Nine, Tens Eleven,
Twelves Thirteen, Fourteen, Fifteen, Sixteen, and Seventeen, in-
elusives in Block Five of Renton Real Estate First Addition to
Renton, are hereby rezoned and reclassified as a Commercial Use,-
--District, and the City Engineer is hereby directed to change the
maps of the zoning ordinance of the City to show this change.
Section 2t This ordinance shall be.in full force and
effect five (5) days from and after its passage, approval and
legal publication according to last.
Passed by the City Council this 5th day of August, 1947.
