ORDINANCE NO. 1282
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENT ON PROHIBITING PARKING ON
WALLA WALLA AVENUE FROM THE EAST MARGIN OF BURNETT STREET TO THE
WEST MARGIN OF WELL STREET., EXCEPTING CERTAIN AREAS THEREIN, AND
PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION THEREOF, AND REPEALING ALL
ORDINANCES AND PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH.
The City Council of the City of Renton do ordain as follows:
Section 1: That the parking of motor vehicles on Walla Walla
Avenue from the East margin of Burnett Street to the'West margin of
Mill Street is hereby prohibited, except that one-half hour parking
of motor vehicles shall be permitted on the South side of Walla Walla
Avenue from the East Margin of Burnett Street to the West margin of
Main Street subject to all applicable rules and regulations governing
the same heretofore or hereafter promulgated.
Section 2: Violations of the provisions hereof 'by any persons,
firm or corporation shall be punishable, upon conviction thereof, by
a fine in any sum not exceeding $25.00.
Section 3: That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith, including Ordinance No. 1221, and any conflicting
prohibitions in Section 33, Chapter 7, of Ordinance No. 1048, be and
are hereby repealed and superseded.
Section 4; That this ordinance shall be in full force a.nd.effect
five -days after its passage, approval and legal publication as pro-
vided by law.
