V AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, ADOPTING A
BUDGET UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 4, CHAPTER 158, LAWS OF 1923.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: That the budget for the year 1947, as prepared and
filed with the City Clerk, be, in all things ratified and adopted.
Section 2: That there be and hereby is allowed the following
separate totals in each of the following classes:
Salaries & Wages . . . .$296,818.00
Maintcn ance & Operation . . 94,027.87
Outlay 59,405.00
Bonds & Interest Redemption . . . 21,174.00
Cumulative Fund 1182 . . . 32, 273.04
Cumulative Fund 1183 . . . 40,000.00
Cumulative Fund 1184 . . . . 34,040.28
Total Expenditures $577,738.19
Less
Receipts from other
sources than taxation 421,578.32
Total to be raised by taxation: $156,159.87
Section 3: That a copy of the budget as adopted be transmitted
to the Division of Municipal Corporations at Olympia, Washington.
Section 4: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
five days from and after its passage, approval and legalpublication,
as provided by law.
