ORDINANCE NO. 1255
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON DECLARING THAT'THERE
SHALL BE NO RESIDENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS FOR APPLICANTS FOR
POSITIONS OF ANY KIND UNDER CIVIL SERVICE IN THE POLICE DE.-

PARTMENT OF THE CITY OF RENTON AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES
AND PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON DO ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1: That hereafter there shall be no residential
qualifications for applicants for positions of any kind under
Civil Service in the Police Department of the City of Renton.
Section 2: That all ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 3: This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect five (5) days after its passage, approval and legal
publicationes provided by law.
