AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,,AMIENDING SECTION 2 of ORDINANCE NO. 1252 PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL AND APPROVED BY THE MAYOR ON June 25, 1946. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That Section 2 of Ordinance No. 1252 of the City of Renton, Washington, passed and approved June 25, 1946, is hereby amended to read as follows: " Section 2. That the proposition of the con- struction of such swimming pool and the above described added facilities thereto, and the issuance of general obligation bonds of the City in the sum of $100,000.00 to pay therefor, be submitted to the qualified voters of said City for ratification or rejection at a special election to be held on the 11.5th day of November, 1946. That the proposition to be submitted at said special election shall be substantially in the following form, to wit: PROPOSITION Shall the City of Renton, Washington, construct a swimming pool and construct and install necessary bathhouses, dressing rooms and a heating plant therefor and, to pay therefor issue its general ob- ligation bonds in the sum of 6100,000, bearing interest, payable semiannually, at a rate not to exceed 3% per annum, and maturing in from 2.to 10 years from date, said bonds to be payable by annual tax levies without limitation, all as provided by Ordinance No. 1252 of the City of Renton?
