AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, PROVIDING FOR
THE DIVISION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, IINUO WARDS TO BE KNOWN
AS FIRST WARD, SECOND WARD ANIS THIRD WARD', ALSO DIVIDING THE FIRST WARD
INTO THREE PRECINCTS, THE SECOND WARD -INTO TWO PRECINCTS AND THE THIRD
WARD INTO TWO PRECINCTS, AND REPEALING ORDINANCE #388 and ORDINANCE
#9292 AND ALL OTHER ORDINANCES AND PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH.
The City Council of the City of Renton, Washington do ordain as follows:
SECTION 1: That the City of Renton, Washington shall be divided into
three wards to be known as, First Ward, Second Ward and Third Ward.
The first ward of the City of Renton shall consist of that portion
of the City of Renton lying North and East of Commercial Waterway #2
(Cedar River). The Second Ward of the City of Renton shall consist of
all of that portion of the City of Renton lying East of Burnett Street
and South of Second. Avenue from Burnett Street to Bronson Way, Bronson
Way to Cedar River, and Cedar River East to City Limits. The Third ward
of said City of Renton shall consist of all of that portion of the City
of Renton lying Wiest of Burnett Street to Second Avenue, North of Second
Avenue from Burnett Street to Bronson Way, North and West of Bronson Way
to Cedar River (Commercial Waterway #2) and South and West of said Water-
way to Northwest City limits.
1.; SECTION 2: That the first ward of the- City of Renton shall be and
hereby is divided into three precincts as follows:
The First precinct shall consist of that portion of the First WArd
the center line of
lying West of the Pacific Coast Railroad right of way, East o Park
Street and North of Commercial Waterway #2, also blocks 2, 51 6, 9 and 10,
Renton Farm Plat Addition to Renton.
The Second Precinct shall consist of that portion of the First Ward
the center line of
lying West o:V Park Street, except blocks 2-5-6-9 and 10 of Renton Farm
Plat Addition to Renton.

The Third precinct shall consist of that portion of the First Ward
lying East of the Pacific Coast Railroad right of way.
SECTION 3: That the Second Ward of the City of Renton shall be -and
hereby is divided into two precincts as follows:
The First precinct shall consist of that portion of the 8econd•Ward
lying West of the center line of Main Street.
The Second precinct shall consist of that portion of the Second
Ward lying East of the center line of Main Street.
SECTION 4: That the Third Ward of the City of Renton shall be and
hereby is divided into two precincts as follows:
The First precinct shall consist of that portion of the Third Ward
lying South of the center line of Third Avenue.
The Second precinct shall consist of that portion of the Third Ward
lying North of the center line of Third Avenue.
SECTION 5: That ordinances #388 and #929, and all other ordinances
and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 6: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect five
(5) days from and after its passage, approval and legal publication as
provided by law.
