ORDINANCE NO. 1227
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, FIXING THE
AMOUNT OF TAX LEVIES NECESSARY TO RAISE THE AMOUNT OF ESTIMATED
EXPENSE LESS THE TOTAL ESTIMATED REVENUES FROM SOURCES OTHER THAN
TAXATION, INCLUDING AVAILABLE SURPLUS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: That the total expense required for the current
year 1946, is the sum of $394,976.02 and the amount necessary to
be raised by taxation is $146,016.10, as shown by Section 2, hereof.
Section 2: That there is hereby levied and assessed against
.all the taxable property, real and personal,_within the corporate
limits of the'City of Renton, Washington, for the purpose of raising
the necessary revenue for the year 1946, the following amounts, viz:

Section 3: That a certified copy of this Ordinance be
transmitted to the County Commissioners as provided by law.
Section 4: That this Ordinance be in full force and
effect five days from and after its passage, approval and legal
publication.
