R�nton that i ts Housing Aut�lo�i ty have the pov�rer in thi s
emergency to act s�riftly and make exp�nditures wh�n nec�ssary.

�Iousing co-o�eration Iaw, Re�n. Rev. St�.tu.te Sec. 688Q-36 and
Sec. 6889-37,
, BE IT R�SOL�IED that the Ci ty Clprk, t�i th the concv.rrence
of the Ulayor i s au�hc�rized to loan to th� �Iousing .�uthori ty o�
tn� City of Reriton, the sUm of One Thous�nd (�l,OQO.OQ) Dol�_ars,
the loa-r� to be conditionea upon its r�payment to th� Cii,y of
Rentan when the Housing Authority obtains a fsd�ral �.ppropria-
tion, and further conditioned upon the exercise of good iaith
by ths Aut _ority in its expenditures from the fund.
THTRD: Thi.s r�so�ution is to t�.ke effect i�neoiately,
as provided by stats statute, but the city clerk is directed
to �vblish the sam� in the official netkrspaper of the City.
