ii��4EAS, it is necessary that t he Pacific Coast Railroad Company
install certain signals at the intersection of rdain Street and ti'�alla
Z�lalla Avenue in the City of Renton, Kin� County, ';Yashington and �rhereas ,
the said Pacific Coast Railroad Company has requested permission to
erect these s.ignals, and whereas it is f or the best interests and pro—
tection of the public that said signals be installed, Novr Therefore,
BE IT RFSOI,V�'D by the City Council of the City of Renton that the '�,
Pacific Coast Railroad Compa�y be and it hereby is permitted, author—
iaed and allowed to install certain signals and signal bridges at the
intersection of Main Street and �lalla 1'lalla Avenue in the City of �
Renton as follows, to—wit; �I
i Si;nal bridge and also a projecting signal arm shall be located
at Main Street on the northerly and southerly margina.l lines of ��alla I'
;'lall.� Avenue. Loc�tion for columns for signal bridge shall be at the �i
east and west curb lines of I�ain Street and one foot south of the I,
southerly marginal line of �'lalla ti�alla Avenue. Alsa location for II,,
instrument case to be located one foot south oi the southerly curb �
line of �'Jalla �4'alla Avenue and 448 feet southvresterly of the column '�
for said signal bridge on west side of Pdain �treet. Also location i
for two columns and projectina arm at northwest corner of Pdain Street II
and ��lalla ��alla Averiue. �l'Yl@ south column to be located at the curb . �

The north column +o be located 9 feet 6 inches north a1on�; the west
curb line of a2ain Street. 91so loc,�tion for instrument case to be '
placea immediately south of said north column. Signal li=�hts shall
have a clearr�nce of 14 feet 6 inches from paved roadway
