i�Y'HEREA�, It is necessary that in the perform�,nce of said work
and the acceptance af �he offer af the United S�a,tes af America �o
make a grant to the Ci�Gy af Renton in the amount of fort y-five �er-
• cent of the cost of the improvement upan completion, but not to ea-
ceed in any event the sum of �2,340.00, that said Petitions be con--
salidated and one Lacal Imnravement Di�trict formed to bear tne re-
� maining costs af said improvement, Now Therefore,
BE IT RES4LVED, by the City Council of the �it y of Rentcan, ��ash-
ington.
1. That it is the intentian of the City Cotuicil to prdex
the improvement of '�illiam� �treet in the Gity of Renton, by �videning
. said Street six feet on each side bet�veen Second A4enus and �'alla �'Yalla
Avenue and by the installation of five �rnarnental Lighting Fixture� an
said Street between Seeond and Thixd Avenues and daing such other woxk
as may be necessary in cannectian therevrith, all in accordanee with p3ans
prepared by the City Engi.neex. .
2. That all persons v�ho may desire to object thereto are :
h��re�by notified to a�?�e�,r and present such objections a� a rneetin� of the

City Council to be held in the Council Chamber in the City Hall in the
City of Renton �.t Eight o' clock P. M. on the 20th day of October, 1936,
which time and place is hereby fixed for hearing all matters relating
to said proposed im�rovement, and all objectians thereta, and for
determining the method of payment E�r said improvement.
3. That the City �ngineer shall, in the manner provided
by law, submit to the City council, at or prior to said date, all data
and information required by law to be submitted.
4. That the cost and expense of said improvement shall
be borne by and assessed against the property liable therefor, as
provided by la.w except that portion of the cost of the improvement
borne b the grant from the United States of America.
