THAT �7HER�AS, � franchis e �or three pipe line� or mains
for water supp�y purposes in certain streets �f the City of
Rentan as set out in prdinance Na. 903 of the City of Rent3n
has been granted to the City �f Seattle; and
�HERBAS, in consideration of the privilege� thereir�
grant�d the Citiy of Seattle i: to pay into the City Treasury '
of the City af Ren ton the sum cf' Thir ty ihoueand I3ollar� I
(�30,000.04) and in additian such sum over and ab�ve the cost I
of standard cancrete paving between curbs as they now exist on
Third Street� in the Gity of Renton, from the west margin of
Burnett Steeet to the southeastern mar�in of �alla �alla Avenue, I
as is occasioned by the exz�tence af s treet railway tracks
there�n ; an d
�RTAS, the City of Renton de�ire� to expend the surplus
after defraying the cost of repaving aM set aut in Ordinar�ce No.903
for building purposes;
NOW, THERFFORE, BE Ii RESQZVED that there be and there hereby
is created a Special Pavin� and Buildin� fund; and
BE Ii FU�iHER R�SOI,VED that the said su� of �hirty Thousand
Dollarw (�30,G00.00) and wu ch additional sum af m�ney a� may be
paid by the E3ity af Seattle to the City cf Rer�tcn under and by
virtue of Ordinance �o. 903 , be paid into the said :pecial Paving
and Building fund f�r the purpos es af:
l. Paying the aos t �f re-p�ving and other
expenses incidental. to the sale af the franchise �
and procuremen t af funds ; and '
2. Bui].ding, erecting and ecnstructing a �i�ric
Auditorium..
