order to properly regulate sueh traPfic , and

eould not reasonably have been forseen that it would be neeessary to employ
such motorcycle patrolm.an, and
�, the City Council of the City of Renton, Washington, 2'ind that
an emergency does exist.
NOW TI3�tr."�"0��, the City Counc il of the City of Renton, do ordain
as follows:
Section 1: That after careful eonsideration the City Council finds
and declares that �n emergency exists herein.
Seetion 2: That there be and hereby is _ _ ' � _
funds in addita.on to the amount provided in the budget for the year 1944,
the sum oP �1000.00 to the wages and salary account of the Police Depart- �
ment.
Section 3: That this ordinance shall not be voted upon u�til one
week shall have elapsed after its introduetion, and that it shall require
the unanimous vote of all oP the members of the Couneil present, and the
approval of the I�tayor, and that a copy oY this ordinance shall be pub-
blished as a proposed ordinanc8 together with a notice oP the time set
for voting thereon before the day set for voti.ng.

Section 4: This ordinance shall be in full force and ePfect five
days after its passage, approval and legal publication as provided by
law.
