has been' burdbned with an un.usual and egce�tional amount of' v�rork
� in the maintenance oP streets and utilitie� and i� is necessary
to create new positions to handle such work.
NOi� TI�REFORE, the City Council of the City of Renton do
ordain as follow�:
Ss�CTION I: That as oP June l, 1 943 there shall be and hereby
is created the following offices ,
Superintendent oP streets and utilities
Foreman of conatruction and maintenance
SECTION II; That the salaries of said officers for the period
from dune l, 1943 to December 31, 1943 shall be figed by resolution
o� the City Council, and therea�'ter �he compensation of such officers
shall be figed bp the City Couneil at the time the estimates are
made and the budget adopted as p rovided by law.
�ECTION 3II: This ordinance shall be in Yull fbrce and effect
2'ive days 2'rom and after its passage, approval and le�al �ublication.
